What does the movie mean by "changing her fate"? It makes it sound like being a princess is a terrible thing. . . | |

We went to the 9:45 show so there wouldn't be any little kids in the theater xD | |

Okay, so she gets mad at her mom because her mom is making her marry. She runs away into the forest and follows the willow-the-wisps to a witch's cottage. She asks the witch to change her mother, which will change her fate. Them her mom turns into a bear, her and her mom go into the forest, the spell is permanent if they don't reverse it by the next sunrise. Then they realize that they need to fix the tapestry that Merida tore, and everything is fixed. Well, there's more to that, just too much to explain. :: )

| It was alright for a kids' movie, but the accents made me want to throw popcorn at the screen and it was annoying how the previews were so vague, it said nothing about the plot or the characters. It was just "she wants to change her fate."
